About Makmayer
Makmayer is a family business from Friedrichshafen, Germany, that develops tools for paintless dent repair (PDR) – above all PDR glue and glue pulling systems. It was founded in 2016 by Vladislav Mayer, PDR technician and Dent Olympics winner in Orlando (USA).
Why Makmayer exists
Vladislav Mayer founded Makmayer because he wanted the best possible tools for his own work – in competition, where repair quality and speed are judged, as well as in everyday shop work.
Whatever he could not buy, he developed and tested himself until it met his standard. That became our principle: we only offer tools that meet this standard.
Competition results
The Dent Olympics at the Mobile Tech Expo in Orlando (USA) are regarded as the unofficial world championship of paintless dent repair. Vladislav Mayer has finished on the podium there three times:
- 20201st place · Tag TeamDent Olympics, Orlando (USA)
- 20171st place · Glue PullingDent Olympics, Orlando (USA)
- 20142nd place · Glue PullingDent Olympics, Orlando (USA)
Glue pulling is the discipline in which dents are pulled from the outside with glue and tabs – exactly the technique our PDR glue and glue tabs are developed for.

Frequently asked questions about Makmayer
Who is behind Makmayer?
Makmayer is a family business from Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance, Germany. It was founded in 2016 by Vladislav Mayer, PDR technician and Dent Olympics winner in Orlando (USA) – in glue pulling in 2017 and in the tag team event in 2020.
Where do Makmayer products come from?
All products are Makmayer's own developments and are sold exclusively under our brand. We do not carry other brands.
What makes Makmayer PDR glue different?
Vladislav Mayer, glue pulling winner at the Dent Olympics in Orlando (USA), developed it for his own work. It comes in two temperature versions: “Summer” from 17 °C (green can) and “Winter” for 0–18 °C (orange can). That keeps the pulling strength in a warm shop as well as outdoors in winter. Both release without residue.
